Lookout House is perched above the fabulous Plettenberg Bay just a short walk to the beach and sea.

It has dazzling sea views over Lookout beach and the Bay and is also a short stroll away from all that Plettenberg Bay central has to offer. Close to the action and yet private and surrounded by soft greenery.

The house is unique; an eclectic blend of vintage and modern with paintings and artworks adorning all available wall space. Homely but also functional the property is spread out to provide ample living and relaxing spaces on many levels – plenty for a large crowd to enjoy.

Perched on top of the property is the Master Bedroom Suite which comprises King bed, lounge area and en-suite shower room together with a central bath, large dressing room and separate w/c. From the bedroom you can walk out onto the private balcony to take in the fabulous views.

The middle level comprises 3 additional bedrooms; Bedroom 1 is another 2 x 3/4 / King with en-suite shower room and doors that open directly onto the covered stoep complete with plenty of soft chairs, sofas and an open fireplace.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 are both Kings, are very well appointed with en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms have doorways out to their respective terraced areas complete with outside showers.

Between these bedrooms you will find the various living spaces; a comfortable lounge with wood stove and large TV, a dining area with a huge table and seating for 12 guests, a small but fully functional kitchen [with two built in ovens and walk-in fridge] and separate scullery, w/c, and linen storage room. The bar area off the dining space opens up onto the front stoep – complete with more super-comfy seating, another large table and benches and a vented gas cooking grill.

Another relaxing area with open fireplace is in front of bedroom 1. There is also a fire-pit at the edge and the entire deck wraps itself around the front and side of the house.

The views across Plettenberg Bay from the house are second-to-none. From the main living area you travel down a stone staircase to reach the very large infinity swimming pool surrounded by lawns. To one side there are sun loungers and another wooden table and benches. Just off this relaxing area is another large living space comprising 2 more bedrooms [2 x Queen / 2 x singles] an en-suite shower room, lobby /dressing room and a large Kids Playroom / TV room / bar. The outside courtyard is served by a separate shower and w/c.

The stairs continue down from the end of the pool and take you to the separate staff accommodation, large garage and parking forecourt. The property is saved by an electric fence and automatic gates and there is additional parking outside in the quiet cut-de-sac.

Everything at Lookout House shouts quality, relaxation and good living. However you look at it this property it is perfect for any occasion. Small groups will find its character intimate and homely. Larger groups will be lost in the abundance of relaxing areas and entertaining spots. The children and younger adults will love their space down near the pool.

Quite how Veronique managed to cram so much into this beautiful house we really don’t know! A house for all seasons and all occasions for sure. Enjoy!!
