Step through the front entryway, where massive wood pillars frame an exquisite living area. A high vaulted ceiling rises above you, and a lofted second story wraps around, sectioned off by wrought iron and stained wood banisters. Elegant sofas and French chairs are positioned under a magnificent chandelier. A classic wood-burning fireplace holds the room together, set into a grand stone hearth.

The kitchen has a light, airy feel, accomplished by the stately white granite countertops and clean cream tilework on the backsplash. A breakfast bar seats three, and a separate counter has space for an additional four. There’s a four-burner gas stove ready for cooking, as well as a wine fridge, stainless steel oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

The entertainment room on the first floor, under the same sloped ceiling as the kitchen, has a TV and gas fireplace, with large sectional couches wrapped around a low table. Step onto the deck from here to take in snow-capped peaks and perfumed pines for the true Mountain Village experience. Spend an evening in total luxury in the separate living space, where you can cozy up on a couch around the TV, with easy access to a wine fridge, microwave, mini fridge, ice maker, dishwasher, and sink.

For days when you’re not skiing or hiking, there’s an exercise room on the first floor, complete with a sauna and steam shower for recovering and rejuvenating. On the first floor, you’ll also find the bunk room, where four people can sleep in two twin bunk beds. From here, there’s easy access to the guest bathroom, which features a shower/tub combo, and a powder room.

Head up to the second floor and enter the Queen Guest Suite, complete with a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone tub and shower. Continue skyward and climb to the third floor, which houses the King Guest Suite. Here, guests will find a king-size bed, plus access to a private balcony and an attached bathroom with its own stand-alone tub and shower. The pinnacle of this floor is the Master Suite. In here, guests have their own fireplace next to the king-size bed, and access to a private balcony. A gorgeous stand-alone shower and tub awaits in the attached ensuite bathroom.

Communal spaces abound in this cavernous Telluride mountain home. The third floor loft has its own single-burner stove, mini fridge, microwave, and couch, which features a twin trundle. For those who need to get a little work done, an elegant office on the third floor is a tranquil place to focus, and a TV and printer are ready for use. A separate area can serve as an apartment, and is complete with its own living area, a twin trundle bed, a kitchenette, and its own bathroom. There’s even an additional couch and twin trundle in one of the large hallways, which can be converted into a living space. As a convenience for all guests, two laundry rooms are found on the first and third floors.

This home is a true marvel, but what lies beyond its walls is perhaps as equally stunning. With your stay, you’ll receive two transferable ski passes to Telluride Resort.
