The tropical island experiences you’ve been dreaming of off the western (Pacific) coast of Panama, near the border of Costa Rica and adjacent to the protected Gulf of Chiriquí National Marine Park awaits your arrival!

Guests are free to explore every inch of the island. A full complement of options from adventure and nature to ocean and relaxation are within your reach. Included in your daily rate are all recreational activities including Paddleboarding, Kayaking, and other recreational equipment, on-site guided activities & excursions, 10+ Nature Trails, binoculars, field guides & re-usable water bottles, yoga, rock fishing, snorkeling, bird watching, beverages, fruits & snacks for island hopping outings, curated experiences such as cooking classes, rum tasting, dance workshops and more. Tours or meals not taken may not be exchanged nor reimbursed. Some activities are tide and weather dependent.

Our culinary expert and master chef Latin America, creates locally sourced meals featuring fresh fish and ingredients from the organic farm. Enjoy fresh smoothies, specialty coffee, multiple course meals, grab n go snacks. Prior to your arrival, your agent from Dream Exotic Rentals will collaborate with you to review the menus and customize it to match your preferences.

The Beachfront Villa Estate is has 6 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms feature open-air private dining space & bar, infinity pool & direct beach access, A/C & large ceiling fans (every room), daily housekeeping & turndown service, laptop-sized safes, and Wi-Fi. Located on the west side of the island it is a 10-15 drive from the island’s 8 barefoot-luxury Beachfront Casitas and restaurant. Two King size bedrooms feature large balconies with sweeping views of the Pacific and surrounding forest. These are 500sqft with an indoor-outdoor lounge, driftwood desk, comfortable dining area, double sinks, rain-head shower, and giant soaking tub. Three bedrooms have a queen-sized bed and floor-to-ceiling jungle views and a glimpse of the ocean. These 300sqft rooms with adjoining balconies and cozy sitting area provide the perfect respite after a day of island adventure. The Garden Room is an intimate room (240sqft) perfect for children/teens or a nanny. This room features a plush queen-sized bed, small seating area and an outdoor shower suspended among the jungle trees. Drive 15 minutes east to the opposite side of the island to find our barefoot beachfront casitas.

Our 8 beachfront casitas feature a hot tub, immersive outdoor bathing experiences (shower & tub)

and direct beach access from every Casita. With approximately 30 M distance between each casita, you have privacy and nearby is the bar, lounge, restaurant, infinity pool, sun beds, hammock lounge, and beaches. Featuring air-conditioning & ceiling fans, king-sized bed & day bed that can accommodate 1 or 2 children, daily housekeeping & turndown service, spacious private gardens, laptop-sized safes, and island-speed Wi-Fi. Also, in each Casita you find a yoga mat, block, meditation cushion, island-speed Internet access and an iPad for your personal use.

Temperatures are fairly consistent year-round, with 90-degree highs during the day and 70-degree temperatures at night. Our high season is December thru April where we have glorious, sunny and typically rain-free days ranging from 75-95 degrees (F), perfect for guests wanting to trade their winter parkas for a pair of shorts. Our green season is May thru November where days tend to bring a few hours of rain, most often in the afternoon and night. The rains are warm and often come and go quickly. In most cases they will not influence activities or tours. A good time to visit for guests who seek lower international airfares, discounted room rates and more comfortable heat. Our rainy season is from May through November. During most of the rainy season, afternoon rains of a few hours are typical; it is only in October and November that the rains regularly become extended.

You can reach Isla Palenque by car from the city of David (Enrique Malek Intl Airport) where we will meet you and bring you to the port in Boca Chica for an approximately 15 min boat transfer. If you’re flying into Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport (PTY) take a brief connecting flight to Enrique Malek Airport (DAV) in David, Panama (60 mins). There’s an additional fee for airport transfer. From David Airport, we’ll meet you and bring you to the port in Boca Chica (60 mins.) then we set sail from Boca Chica on a short, 15-min. boat ride to Isla Palenque.
