The stunning Villa del Sole sits proud on its hilltop perch, with the beauty of Lake Como literally at its feet. Ideally located, guests at the villa are just a stroll away from Bellagio’s vibrant retail and gastronomic scene as well as its convenient ferries for adventures further afield. At home, the property’s owners seem to have thought of every entertainment and convenience – from the gym to the pool to the AppleTV, not to mention the tricked-out kitchen and sleek modern design.

The accommodations and living spaces are spread across three floors, accessible through an internal wooden staircase. With the charming stone cladding, whitewashed timber and leather furnishings, the modern design has a homey touch, and wrap-around windows throughout make the most of the stunning views. Head downstairs for the gym with its own shower room and the cantina stocked with the area’s most popular vintages. Two double bedrooms, each with their own shower room, are on the main floor, along with the well-equipped kitchen, an open plan living and dining space and a small library complete with books and games for those rare rainy days. Just outside the living room is the stone terrace with a dining and living area for fab al fresco feasts and a panoramic pool overlooking Lake Como for exercise and family fun. Upstairs you’ll find another double bedroom with a shower room and a small living room on the landing, which can also be used as a bedroom with its single sofabed and step out terrace.
