Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru in Arzachena, Sardinia is an 18 bedroom estate located in the heart of Costa Smeralda and a few kilometers from the most beautiful northern Sardinia beaches. The estate is less than 2 km from Arzachena and about 20 km from Olbia Airport. From the Estate you can easily reach some of the most important historical and archaeological sites of Gallura. Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru has been created according to the traditional Gallura farmhouse style and is surrounded by the scents of myrtle, juniper and arbutus, within an estate of 32 hectares. It consists of several parts: the villas (the Stazzo, which dates to 1850 and was recently restored and Il Pagliaio, born from the expansion and the renovation of the old barn), the rooms and the suites. Guests accommodated in the Suites and in the Villa Il Pagliaio have access to the beautiful outdoor pool (opened from May 1st to September 30th). Additionally, there is a comfortable solarium, equipped with sun loungers and sun umbrellas.

The two rooms of Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru are located near the reception. They are equipped with all amenities, including the closet and bathroom with Jacuzzi shower. The 10 suites are surrounded by the nature and have a comfortable covered patio to relax during the day or to enjoy the cool evenings. Very spacious, they have been furnished using the typical local materials such as granite, wood and brick. In addition to rooms and suites, Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru offers two comfortable and elegant villas. The Villa Lo Stazzo of Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru in Costa Smeralda was originally the house of the farmer. To reveal its full rustic, familiar character during its restoration we kept all the original materials and furnished it with period furniture from our own family. Take a morning dip in the outdoor pool behind the villa and sit in the spacious sun area, and if you find it a little chilly in the evening, warm yourself by the old fireplace. Renewal comes from the ancient structure, which still keeps the traditional charm. It consists of three double rooms with private bath (one of which has separate entrance), a fully equipped kitchen, a living room-dining room with fireplace, a covered porch. The veranda overlooks the solarium of the swimming pool, immersed in the nature of Gallura. Once used as a hay barn, this two-story Gallura-style building is now the Villa Il Pagliaio of Stazzo Lo Ciaccaru on the Costa Smeralda. The ground floor is for relaxing: the living room with fireplace and the dining room furnished with period furniture and other pieces in country-chic style, and the kitchen. On the upper floor there are two clean and quiet double bedrooms, and there is also a second bathroom with shower. To enjoy more privacy, there is a third bedroom on the ground floor with a large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi, ideal for a hot bubble bath when you return from the sea.

The Ciminea Restaurant at Stazzu Lu Ciaccaru offers a cuisine that’s not just Mediterranean but fundamentally Sardinian. As we couldn’t imagine you leaving this special place without having tried all the tastes and smells of Sardinia, we have chosen to offer a cuisine that reflects our people and style of life: frank, direct, genuine, and fragrant. The restaurant brings to the table the best that the region has to offer: from local producers we buy Sardinian pork, sheep’s cheese, seasonal smoked cheeses, honey, and fresh fish; we grow our own herbs and fruit, making our own jams from our lemons, oranges, figs, and prickly pears.
