To spend your vacation at Residenza La Riva is to enjoy the best that Lake Como has to offer. The area’s most popular spots are within easy reach, whether it’s the quaint cobbled streets, traditional trattorias tempting you with fresh fish dishes or the historic villas and gardens gracing the lake’s shore. The property has a host of distractions for ‘homebodies’ as well – a comfortable, contemporary interior, a large panoramic terrace and a shared infinity pool overlooking the lake. For boating enthusiasts, a boat slip is available for rent right outside the door and we would be happy to assist you in finding the perfect rental cruiser.

An wrought iron gate welcomes you to the property and the parking lot, where the apartment has two reserved spaces. A small staircase leads up to the entrance and, once inside, the apartment’s ample living space is all on one convenient level. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area offers plenty of room for your entire group to socialize, cook and eat. Leading off the corridor is the “zona notte” with its four bedrooms and three baths. The bedrooms include two double rooms, one twin room with its own private terrace and a room with bunk beds that has enough space for an extra bed. The spacious marble-clad bathrooms all feature walk-in showers, while one offers the extra convenience of a washer and dryer.

The vast terrace invites guests to indulge in those lovely Lake Como views at any time of the day or night – lounging on the outdoor sofa with your morning caffé and a good book, gathering around the large al fresco dining table for a long Italian lunch or perching on the perfectly positioned bench to soak up the last of the sun’s rays before it sets behind the mountains. A private path takes you to the gated exit at the lakeshore and a row of boat slips available to rent for an extra fee. A separate paved pathway takes you to a nearby hotel, where you can sip your Aperol Spritz on the bar terrace or indulge in a meal of Italian favorites and artisanal ice cream at the elegant hotel restaurant.
