When you think about Utah, what comes to mind is normally Park City and the Deer Valley Region. The reason for this is that it is one of the most amazing places to ski and it’s home to the very popular Sundance Festival http://festival.sundance.org, uniting film directors, actors, and new film onto a stage for all to see. In Deer Valley the mountains are strewed with gorgeous multi-million dollar chalets. Some of the most recognizable are often times homes to the some of the most impressive ski elevations, where you can ski in and out of your home. These are great for those seeking a Luxury Location for their family who want simply to ski and enjoy some of the comforts of home.
Voted #1 as a Ski Destination by Various Travel Magazine and online Websites, Park City is everything you could want in an upscale location. Lift Tickets at Deer Valley Resort can range from $53 for a child and $86 for an adult. The Altitude at Deer Valley Resort is 9,570 Ft. at the Summit and 6,570 at the base. If you have not skied before and begin to experience some elevation sickness it is best to return to your resort and ask for the medical office where they should have oxygen to help you adjust to the altitude. This may not help those with asthma as they require at times special medication in order to enjoy the Resorts.
In Utah you will find Deer Valley Resort, Canyons Resort, Olympic Park, and communities such as Deer Crest, Snow Park Village and Silver Lake Village. If you are looking for something to do in the Summertime, have no fears, Deer Valley is a great place to visit in the summer with Resevoir activities. It also one of the best places to host a wedding, enjoy family hiking, and just enjoy the overall feel of the mountains. You can rent some very lavished Villas for half of the rate of less of wintertime rates. So book in advance to ensure your weeks are ready.
