The Madiba Villa is a gracious secluded two-story Cape-style home situated in the midst of The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel’s stunning gardens; with its own private courtyard, small swimming pool and the majestic Table Mountain in the background.

 

The villa features a large sitting/dining room with gas fireplace, built-in bar, plunge pool, service kitchen and three en-suite bedrooms with walk-in cupboards.  Each suite has 2 twin beds, made up into double beds.  The double doors of the bedrooms lead onto a little veranda area with magnificent views. Each bathroom has a separate bath and shower.  The modern style service kitchen is furnished with granite tops and fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, Espresso machine and fridge.  The open plan lounge/dining room seats 6 guests comfortably.  It is fully air-conditioned with under carpet heating and has service 24 hours a day.  The swimming pool is a solar heated, salt chlorinated pool; with temperatures ranging from 18-22 degrees.

The gardens of The Cellars-Hohenort are acknowledged as one of the finest hotel gardens internationally and have been voted by Garden Design, a top American magazine, as one of the top 30 hotel gardens in the world.  The Cellars-Hohenort has recently been awarded the Relais & Chateaux Garden Trophy for 2010.

 

The Cellars-Hohenort has security guards on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, who patrol the grounds and monitor the boom gate at the property entrance.
