Villa Bibbiani is a luxury vacation rental on the southern slopes of the Montalbano Hill near Florence. The villa is a charming Renaissance residence surrounded by a lush botanical park and wonderful vineyards. A history of beauty and avantgarde longer than 1300 years. Villa Bibbiani was constructed in the mid 1700’s by the noble Frescobaldi family. Later, a prominent politician from a neighboring city, Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi married into the Frescobaldi family and assumed a prominent role at the villa. Cosimo Ridolfi, known as the father of modern Italian agriculture, curated and planted stunning botanical gardens containing more than 3,000 unique and exotic species of plants and trees.

Villa Bibbiani was constructed in the mid 1700’s by the noble Frescobaldi family. Later, a prominent politician from a neighboring city, Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi married into the Frescobaldi family and assumed a prominent role at the villa. After a careful renovation, in 2018 Villa Bibbiani got back to his original beaty. The property offers the visitor a view of the wonderful Villa with its lushy parks. The entire estate, together with vineyards, olive groves and woods, covers a total area of about 400 hectares of pure Tuscany. The villa interiors are lined with magnificent frescoes and fine period furnishings that marry Old World styling with Modern Day luxury. The Ridolfi Master Suite boasts hand-painted, coffered ceiling; spacious living area, private office, dressing room and a majestic bathroom. The 80 sqm private terrace overlooks the pristine Tuscan nature. The master suite was designed to convey the utmost sense of peace and privacy. The Michelangelo Suite is a queen sized bedroom that offers a mélange of antique and modern furniture, unique art and breathtaking views. The Leonardo da Vinci Suite is a queen sized bedroom that is the perfect room to come back to after a long day. Airy and spacious, with clean natural colors, walk-in closet, and an ample bathroom. The Marchese Suite is a queen bedroom with design features that are subtly layered with chic finishes and elegant detailing, a hand-painted wooden coffered ceiling. The Raffaello Suite is a king bedroom with an exercise in Italian minimalism, with its warm tones and cotto tiles. Relax in the luxurious indoor saltwater pool and hydromassage hot tub with a Bromine filtration system. Boasting the latest Technogym® equipment, the gym is available for personal use or with a trainer (by request). A modern professional kitchen is available for personal use or by the staff. The family dining room is adjacent to the kitchen for ease of service and more intimate or casual meals. The formal Historic Dining Room has been elegantly restored to preserve even the smallest original detail in its frescoes and Venetian-style decorations. The winery is housed in the ancient basement of Cosimo Ridolfi. In 1800, it was considered a state of the art structure with running water and was equipped with a heating system that allowed temperature control during the winemaking process. The Historic Chapel is one of a few consecrated private chapels in Italy and is original to the Villa. Consecrated by Pope Clemente XII, the chapel has been restored to its original splendor and the last Marquesa Frescobaldi is entombed herein.
