This luxurious villa, on a hill overlooking Baie Rouge, is facing the Caribbean Sea, the far distant St. Martin's mountains, and the island of Anguilla. Beaulieu offers a postcard sea view all day long; and the lights of Marigot at night. The villa has a fantastic bar kitchen made out of maple, with granite counter tops and stunning views of the sands of Baie Rouge Beach.

 

A new over-sized bedroom suite with two French doors and a large private terrace is made out of tumbled marble floors with en-suite tumbled marble bathroom, a dressing room and a private patio. The sea view from this bedroom & bathroom is spectacular.

 

Beaulieu features now a very large and airy bar kitchen which opens towards the sea and the swimming pool; an inside dining room; a double living with beautiful contemporary furniture opens to a covered terrace for outside dining and living, and a large heated swimming pool (50' x 20'). Around the swimming pool, three over-sized bedroom suites with their private terrace, each with tumbled marble and a postcard sea view. The fourth bedroom suite, with its separate study-room, occupies entirely the charming cottage, very nearby, with its large private terrace facing the sea and the beautiful scenery from over a private lawn. On walking all along Beaulieu, you always keep the gorgeous sea view.

 

Beaulieu is located 4 miles from Marigot, 5 minutes to the nearest grocery store, and a 3 minute’s drive from Baie Rouge, Plum Bay, Long Bay, Cupecoy and Mullet Bay.

 

ABOUT ST. MARTIN/ST. MAARTEN:

St. Martin (the French side) is known for its beautiful beaches, clothing stores, shopping, and rich French and Caribbean cuisine.  The official language is French, but English is commonly spoken.  The Dutch side (St. Maarten) is known for its festive nightlife, casinos, and jewelry stores.  The official language is Dutch and English.  This all adds up to a tale of two nations that offer the best of both worlds ... activity and leisure.
  
Terres Basses (French for Lowlands) is located at the westernmost end of the island beyond the Simpson Bay Lagoon. It is home to some of the most exclusive villas on the island and features two of St. Martin's prettiest beaches at Plum Bay, Baie Rouge, and Long Bay.
  
The capital city of Marigot is perhaps the most French in spirit of all the cities in the Caribbean. Colonial houses stand beside smart cafes and bistros, pastry shops and luxury boutiques, and in many ways it looks just like any of the French market towns you might expect to find on the Continent. Visitors can enjoy a newly built shopping center at the foot of Fort St. Louis, with luxurious boutiques. At the southern end of town down by the harbor is the Marina Port la Royale, elegant stores with the latest in European designer fashions and fine jewelry, all free of tax. The official currency on the French side is the euro.  However, every store on the island also accepts the United States dollar. The entire city is only four streets wide, so it is very easy to get around.
  
St. Maarten’s (the Dutch side) Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) is served by Air Caraibes, Air France, American Airlines, Air Transat, BWIA, Continental, Corsair, Delta, Dutch Caribbean, Jet Blue, KLM, Liat, United Airline, and US Airway.  There is also a small airport on the French side (St. Martin) of the island at Grand Case, Lâ Esperance Airport, for small jet and propeller planes serving neighboring Caribbean islands.
