GREEN LIVING is all that has to be said of this luxury lake log cabin rental overlooking Lake Norfork in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Situated in the center of the States, we are within 10 hours by hybrid of numerous towns and cities. Designed with families in mind, every effort has been made to ensure your family has fun in a safe and healthy environment. Natural materials have been used throughout, such as wool, silk, organic cotton, bamboo, reclaimed wood, stone and leather. We have also used non-VOC paints to ensure toxins are banished and your family will breathe nothing but the freshest mountain air.

 

Looking on a wider scale, this Lodge was also built to be ‘green’ and to conserve nature. The house features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, each one luxuriously decorated, its size is more than adequate for 10 people, but not too large to be a drain on electricity for heating and cooling. Double glazing, cellulose insulation and blackout curtains keep heat at bay during the hot summer months and keep heat in during the winter. Local materials and staff are used where possible, along with materials which are recycled and recyclable. With its roots in nature, the home has been designed around a warm, neutral palette with sleek, contemporary features. A list of ‘green’ features and amenities is as follows:
