Sandy Hill Estate is a gorgeous, private property perched on the heights above (and with immediate access to) Sandy Hill Beach -- one of Anguilla's loveliest beaches, on an island famous for its sand and sea. The property is comprised of seven bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms) in two 3 bedroom villas and one 1 bedroom garden cottage -- in addition, a Jacuzzi is nestled within seaside trees, a fresh water pool with a vanishing edge overlooks the sea, a Har-Tru tennis court with lights for night play buffers the Estate from its neighbors, a fully equipped fitness center provides a center for exercise and massage, and an expansive dining pavilion with computer and entertainment facilities all coalesce to create a truly unique environment.

 

The tiled patio that surrounds the pool on three sides offers ample room for lolling and sunbathing and viewing the breathtaking tropical sunset. A smaller western patio adjoining the kitchen provides an ideal location for breakfast.

Sandy Hill Estate is nestled on three acres of lush tropical gardens with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea, and the mountains of St Martin and St Barth’s beyond. Luxuriate in the white powdery sands of our deserted beach. Enjoy ultimate privacy in a three-, four-, or seven-bedroom pavilion with pool. For tennis players we provide the only Har-Tru soft court in the Leeward Islands lit for playing in the cool of the tropic night.

 

The Great House: Elegant, palatial living with commanding views. The Great House with the added expanse of double height ceilings, study with telephone, fax, and high-speed internet connection, and a large modern kitchen which provides generously for groups large or small to assemble for the cocktail hour, to dine together, play cards or games, dance or watch cable television.

 

Grand Master Suite: Three air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans, king-size beds and private baths. Indoor-outdoor living with both grand and intimate seating areas. On the top floor is the master bedroom with ceiling fans, king bed, soaking tub with sea views, separate bathroom with large stall shower, double vanity, and bidet. Phenomenal sunrise and sunset views that can be enjoyed from the bed or a very private adjoining terrace. An additional cozy Garden Cottage has queen-size bed & private bath.

 

Master Suite: Three air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans, a large living room with balcony overlooking the sea, and a complete kitchen, an enchanting walled garden, and high-speed Internet access and a fax machine. The Master Bedroom has a king-size four poster-canopied beds and private bath. The upper floor balcony banks two bedrooms each with bath, one with queen-size bed and other with 2 twins.

 

A pathway leads to a powdery, white sand beach with the warm and waters of the Caribbean. Use snorkeling gear provided by Sandy Hill Estate to explore the abundant underwater life. Retreat from the mid day sun and enjoy cold drinks under the shade of the gazebo overlooking the beach.

 

For tennis players we provide the only Har-Tru soft court in the Leeward Islands lit for playing in the cool of the tropic night. For those whose day is not complete without a good workout, Sandy Hill Estate has a fitness center with a treadmill, nautilus equipment, and free weights. Cool yourself off in a magical swimming pool with the illusion of a vanishing edge. Swim laps with views of the Caribbean Sea, the islands of St Martin, St Barth’s, and St Kitts. In the evenings enjoy the secluded hot tub, large enough for eight. Our gardener maintains the three acres, which are home to over 100 species of flora and fauna. Among the flora to be found are Hibiscus, a Mahogany tree, palms. An aviary in the gardens attracts the islands birds, including the Sandy Hill Estate dove.
