The Clifton Lodge is a luxurious ski-in ski-out log home located on the 4 O’clock Ski Run and just a short distance from the Snowflake Lift.  This 4 bed, 4½ bath natural beauty sleeps 10-12 guests; and is a quintessential, western log home with luxurious style and an ambiance that radiates classic mountain comfort.  The home affords main, lower and upper level accommodations.

 

The main level boasts a great room, dining area, kitchen, powder room, half bath, and junior master suite.  Enormous picture windows and half moon shaped windows shower the main level with natural lighting and incredible mountain vistas.  A massive moss rock fireplace punctuates the center of the great room and main level and sprawls to the top of the cathedral ceiling. Natural hickory floors form a semi circle around the great room as you step down into the living area. Warm up by the firelight or simply gaze at the awesome views of Baldy Mountain that soars 13, 679 feet above sea level, Red Mountain, and the peaks of the Breckenridge Ski Area.

 

Perched above the dining area and great room, the kitchen is surrounded by creative log accents. The in-style stainless steel appliances add a touch of modern class to the natural, custom, pine cabinetry, granite counter tops and slate floor. Step down from the kitchen into the dining room and find the solid pine table with oversized, burgundy-upholstered chairs that seat 10.  The powder room, half bath, is just off the kitchen.

 

Just off the kitchen area is the Pines Suite. This cozy king bed suite is a furnished junior master bedroom with rough pine wood furniture, TV/VCR, delightful chair, ottoman, and a walk-in closet with a safe for your valuables. The en-suite bath has a deep jetted tub, separate shower with dual shower heads, earth tone tiles and slate floors.

 

The lower level offers a Family Room, two guest suites, and a sun deck.  Stretch out on one of the two sofas, make a snack at the granite counter top wet bar with refrigerator, and watch a movie on the 32-inch TV, equipped with VCR/DVD, and Nintendo in the Family Room.  Enjoy your favorite tunes with the stereo, AM/FM radio, cassette and CD player and state of the art surround sound. The Clifton Suite, Great Room and Outside Deck are all equipped with custom, built-in surround sound speakers. The Family Room transforms into a sleeping area with a queen sofa sleeper.

 

Down the hall from the family room is the Spruce Room.  This very private chamber has a captain’s bunk (twin on the top and a double on the bottom), TV, and an adjacent full bath with natural earth tone tile work and tub-shower.  Across the hall from the Spruce Room is the Elk Room. This suite is perfectly western with 2 log twin beds, denim comforters, a log mirror, wood carved ski bear, TV/VCR and a private, full bath with tub-shower.

 

The back sun deck expands 75 feet in length, and boasts a teak table that seats 6 as well as a gas barbeque grill. Soak your time away in the six-person hot tub as Red Mountain comes alive from the glow of the sunset.

 

The upper level offers a master suite with office the Clifton Suite and office. The office, which is part of the suite, is a private nook complete with desk, fax and a sofa. The master, Clifton Suite, is furnished with king bed, TV/VCR and decorated in soothing earth tones. A large walk-in closet houses a safe for your valuables.  The ultra spacious master bath suite expands 30 feet in length! The bath boasts vaulted ceilings, window seat, custom pine cabinetry, slate floors, multi-shaped tile work, two separate sink vanities, two oversized mirrors, a jetted Jacuzzi tub and an enormous shower centered with 3 sides of glass, dual showerheads, massager, and the shower transforms into a steam room. French doors lead to a private staircase that descends to the deck and hot tub.

 

The Clifton Lodge is only a 1.3 mile drive to downtown Breckenridge’s shops and restaurants. To access Snowflake Lift, you must ski down 4 O'Clock run a short distance and cross the street.  Come and enjoy a family retreat like no other!
