Colibri Cottage is a serene Caribbean vacation rental, a tropical hideaway that captures the St. Lucia’s natural beauty and charm. Overlooking the tranquil waters of Malgretoute Bay, this six-bedroom, six-bathroom villa accommodates up to twelve guests and offers a front-row seat to the island’s most iconic vista — the majestic Pitons rising from the sea. Tucked away in Malgretoute Bay, the area offers a quiet anchorage for sailboats and yachts cruising Saint Lucia, offering calm waters for swimming and snorkeling. Just a short drive away, guests can discover botanical gardens, the island’s rainforest, hiking trails, fine restaurants, and even a live volcano.

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the villa blends Caribbean character with relaxed sophistication. Its spacious open-air verandas, stone terraces, and inviting lounge areas invite guests to unwind to the rhythm of the ocean. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts beneath the shade of the veranda, take a refreshing dip in the infinity-edge lap pool while gazing up at Petit Piton, or simply stroll through the manicured gardens scented with tropical blooms.

Colibri Cottage is made up of two adjacent villas. The main villa, which has hosted Prince Phillip in the past, has lovely colonial architecture, has two bedrooms with ensuite baths, king sized four poster beds and attractive common areas. The detached two-story villa is divided into two apartments each with two bedrooms including beds that flexibly convert from king size to twins, two bathrooms, living room/kitchenette and long graceful verandas with cooling ceiling fans and spectacular views. Colibri Cottage is the perfect location for a small, intimate wedding, a family reunion or a group of friends. The villa is designed for rest and reconnection. The property welcomes children aged twelve and above, ensuring an atmosphere of calm and privacy. There is no air conditioning — instead, ceiling fans and the ocean breeze keep the interiors naturally cool, maintaining the villa’s harmony with its surroundings.

Guests are cared for by a dedicated housekeeper, Lavina, and a resident groundskeeper, Randall, who ensure your stay is effortless from arrival to departure. Daily housekeeping is included in the rate and breakfast; lunch and dinner service could also be arranged upon request at an additional cost; guests will be responsible for providing the ingredients. Please inform our agents in advance during the planning stage if you wish to include this option.
