By the Sea is a beachfront vacation rental located in Topsail Island in North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. The house features a beachfront walkout with private pool and outdoor dining. The oceanfront side faces the stunning sunrises over the Atlantic, and the Porte-Cochere side of the house overlooks the intra-coastal waterway and spectacular sunsets. The entire inside of the home is wrapped in ship lapped panel pine and the floors are hard pine.

Featuring 8 bedrooms and 7 baths, including a top floor master spa suite all with featherbeds, down pillows, Fine Anichini Italian all cotton sheets, robes, and televisions, this home is the perfect luxury getaway. All bathrooms feature unique Mackenzie-Childs hand-painted fish sinks, L'Occtane soaps, and Anichini towels. The master spa suite is located on the top floor for complete privacy features a special jetted spa overflow tub, dry cedar sauna, steam shower with whirlpool foot bath, art glass sinks, stunning custom tile work. It also features a private porch with luxurious custom made double chaise lounge, breakfast table with chairs, and incredible views of the ocean and beach.

The Villa sleeps up to 20 people and features four wood-burning fireplaces, almost 6000 square feet of heated and cooled space, a private oceanfront pool and hot tub, an outside kitchen and game area with ping pong table and pool (8-ball) table as well as two outside showers, over 5100 square feet of porches & decks & patio, a great room and several extra game/TV rooms, and high speed internet access and expanded cable.

The house is handicap accessible, complete with an elevator and handicap accessible bedroom and bathroom that features a roll-in shower, toilet with foldable hand rails, and roll-under sink located on the Great Room level. The house is also child-friendly with toys, games, DVDs, pool toys, two child-oriented bedrooms, pack n plays, stroller, high chairs, baby gates, and child-size toilet and sink in one of the bathrooms. The fully outfitted kitchen features two ovens -one convection, two KitchenAid dishwashers, five burner stove, full stand-alone refrigerator, full stand-alone freezer, alkemi and marble counters, Chantal pots and pans, ice cream maker, bread maker, and much more.

We are close to a lot of diverse activities in and around North Topsail Beach. You are just minutes away from a Golf Digest 4-star rated golf course, Triple J Stables, Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park, Fishing Charters, City Parks, Historic Wilmington, Battleship North Carolina, Airlie Gardens, Duplin Winery, North Carolina Aquarium, and much more. The Great Room features an antique cypress wetbar. The old-growth cypresses were logged over 150 years ago and were lost in the sea.

After divers retrieved the logs, they were purchased by the owner and were sent to the Pennsylvania Amish to be hand carved into a custom wetbar. Well-behaved dogs are always welcome.
