At its center, a three-sided gas fireplace creates a warm focal point between the living and dining areas, making this an inviting gathering place after a day on the slopes or exploring the surrounding trails. The adjoining kitchen offers generous preparation space and opens naturally to the dining area, where there is room to gather for relaxed breakfasts and evening meals.

Outside, Quicksilver Lodge reveals one of its greatest attractions. A spacious private deck provides seating among the trees, creating a beautiful spot to slow down and enjoy the mountain air. After skiing, hiking or biking, guests can sink into the private hot tub and watch the stars emerge above the forest. A separate fire pit area offers another inviting setting for evenings outdoors, surrounded by the quiet of the Colorado mountains.

The three bedrooms are arranged across different levels of the home, giving families and couples welcome privacy. The primary king bedroom is on the main level, tastefully decorated and comfortable with TV, and an updated ensuite bath with double sinks and shower/tub combination. On the upper level is a nicely furnished queen bedroom with a TV and ensuite bath. An upper-level loft area is a perfect place to relax with a good book or to take an afternoon nap. On the lower level is a king bedroom with a TV and desk area. This bedroom uses the hall bath.

Peak 8 and its ski terrain are approximately five minutes away by car, while the restaurants, shops, galleries and historic architecture of downtown Breckenridge can be reached in around 10 minutes. Summer brings an entirely different experience, with hiking and mountain biking among the best ways to discover the surrounding forests.

During ski season, the home benefits from a complimentary seasonal shuttle service, generally available from mid-November through mid-April. Pickups can be scheduled through a convenient shuttle app and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the property's driveway, guests are collected safely at street level rather than directly at the house. This provides a convenient alternative to driving when heading toward the ski area during the winter season.

Quicksilver Lodge is also a pet-friendly Breckenridge vacation home, allowing guests to share their Colorado getaway with four-legged members of the family. Pets are welcomed subject to advance written approval and an additional pet fee, so arrangements should be confirmed prior to arrival. For guests arriving by car, the property provides parking for three vehicles, with space for one car in the heated garage and two additional vehicles in the driveway.
