Villa Magnificent is an elegant vacation villa in Cape Town, pairing timeless character with sweeping city and mountain views. Set within one of Cape Town’s most desirable residential neighborhoods on the lower slopes of Table Mountain, this beautifully restored home offers an inviting combination of historic charm, generous interiors and relaxed South African living. Surrounded by an established indigenous garden, Villa Magnificent provides a peaceful retreat while keeping guests wonderfully close to the attractions, restaurants and natural landmarks of the Mother City.

The character of the original residence has been carefully preserved throughout. The main lounge, complete with a wood-burning fireplace, creates an atmospheric gathering place for cooler evenings, complemented by a separate reading and TV nook and a dedicated study for guests who may need to work during their stay. Designed for easy entertaining, the open-plan dining area flows naturally into the fully equipped kitchen, with a separate scullery providing additional practicality. There is plenty of space for leisurely breakfasts, family dinners and relaxed evenings at home after a day exploring Cape Town.

Outdoor living is an integral part of the experience at Villa Magnificent. The lush indigenous garden provides a wonderfully private setting for sunny afternoons, while the large swimming pool is ideal for cooling off during Cape Town’s warmer months. Multiple outdoor areas invite guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and the property even features a vegetable garden with seasonal produce. A private sauna adds another indulgent touch, particularly welcome after a morning spent hiking the nearby mountain trails.

The villa offers four air-conditioned bedrooms on the upper level, accompanied by three bathrooms. The spacious primary suite features a large walk-in wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom and balcony, while the fourth bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom. For groups seeking greater flexibility, a fifth bedroom can be made available upon request and at an additional charge. Located toward the back of the property, this additional room can be a convenient option for a teenager or travelling staff member. Please note that the maximum occupancy of Villa Magnificent remains eight guests, including when the fifth bedroom is requested.
