Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and Twelve Apostles, this ten-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 20 guests and is particularly well suited to groups gathering for wellness escapes, corporate retreats or simply time away together. Spread across four levels, the villa balances generous communal spaces with quieter corners where guests can enjoy a greater sense of privacy.

Multiple living areas provide plenty of room to gather without ever feeling crowded, complemented by two kitchens and dedicated office space for guests who need to remain connected during their stay. Sea-facing terraces draw the magnificent Camps Bay scenery into everyday life, while the garden and fire pit offer inviting settings for conversation, relaxation and evenings outdoors.

One of Buddha Retreat’s greatest attractions is its collection of wellness and leisure amenities. Guests can choose between both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, while a private indoor gym makes it easy to maintain an active routine throughout the stay. Whether starting the morning with a workout, spending a leisurely afternoon beside the pool or gathering for sunset drinks overlooking the ocean, the villa offers numerous ways to enjoy time at your own pace.

The ten bedrooms each have a private bathroom, with most enjoying sea views and others looking towards the mountains. Eight bedrooms are accessed externally, an arrangement that gives much of the accommodation an additional sense of independence and privacy.

An important feature to consider when booking Buddha Retreat is its extensive use of stairs. The villa unfolds across four levels, all connected by staircases, and there is a tight spiral staircase leading to the main kitchen. Guests should therefore expect to use numerous stairs throughout their stay, making the property less suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Beyond the property, Camps Bay offers one of Cape Town’s most celebrated coastal settings. The white sands and palm-lined promenade of Camps Bay Beach are complemented by an excellent collection of restaurants and cafés, while Table Mountain, the city center and many of Cape Town’s landmark attractions are within convenient driving distance.
