Built and designed by leading Costa Rican architects and contractors, the villa celebrates its surroundings through expansive spaces, warm natural textures and carefully selected locally made details. From the moment you arrive, the Pacific takes center stage, framed by the architecture and providing an ever-changing backdrop of blue horizons and spectacular sunsets.

At the heart of the property is an impressive 48-foot infinity pool overlooking the ocean. A shallow pool area accompanies it, while the expansive pool and yoga deck creates an idyllic setting for sun-filled afternoons, private wellness sessions or quiet mornings overlooking the coast. Outdoor living continues across a covered pergola terrace, spacious lounge areas and an atmospheric terrace with a fire pit, while an outdoor dining area with BBQ and bar invites long lunches and unforgettable dinners beneath the Costa Rican sky.

Inside, the villa has been designed with gathering in mind. An elegant living room, fully equipped kitchen and indoor dining space provide a sophisticated setting for time together, complemented by a TV and game room with shuffleboard and board games. Wellness is an integral part of the Villa Ocaso experience with the private gym and additional spa treatments and wellness classes can also be arranged, transforming the villa into a private retreat tailored entirely around your group.

Villa Ocaso accommodates up to 20 guests and beyond across nine bedrooms and 13 beds, including a separate casita. Eight bathrooms, three additional powder rooms and two outdoor showers provide ample facilities for larger groups. Individual air conditioning is available throughout the guest rooms and shared living areas, with most rooms also featuring ceiling fans. Thoughtful in-room details include luxury bathroom amenities, robes, hairdryers, laptop-size safes and handheld steamers. The villa's separate casita provides additional independence, complete with a studio bedroom and ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, laundry facilities, pull-out sofa and private terrace, this is an appealing arrangement for members of the group seeking their own space while remaining part of the wider villa experience.

Daily housekeeping, a dedicated trip concierge and butler service are included, allowing guests to settle immediately into the relaxed rhythm of the Pura Vida lifestyle. Pre-stocking and private chef service can be coordinated ahead of arrival, while Wi-Fi, the Sonos sound system and an extensive collection of recreational equipment are also provided. Guests have access to four bicycles, a stand-up paddleboard and double kayak, together with beach umbrellas, cabanas, chairs, towels, coolers and loungers. Families are equally well considered, with children's beach toys available at the villa.

Rather than leaving guests to organize their stay after arrival, the Villa Ocaso team can create a bespoke itinerary around individual interests. One day might begin with a traditional breakfast followed by a private wellness class or massage overlooking the ocean; another could bring ATV adventures, zip-lining or a visit to an animal sanctuary. Guests might paddleboard or kayak in the afternoon before returning for cocktails and dinner at sunset. Experiences can also come directly to the villa. At additional cost, guests can arrange daily breakfast, private chef and bartender services, spa treatments, wellness classes, children's activities and entertainment.
