Located in the heart of Deià, this traditional Mallorca house is called Casa Deia Joya which means House Master or House of the Teacher and was originally used as a school. Complete renovation was finished at the end of 2011 and our aim was to update the facilities but retain the original character. The house has wooden beams and terracotta floors throughout and the original well is still a feature in the kitchen. There are spectacular views from the completely private rooftop terrace and a beautiful, very private courtyard with a brand new Hot Tub to the rear of the property.

Fully equipped kitchen with a modern touch-control ceramic hob, stainless steel oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, separate drinks fridge (in cupboard under stairs), nespresso coffee machine, bodum toaster, kettle and juicer

Utility room:
Washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner

Living rooms:
Open plan living/dining room on ground floor with cd/ipod and fireplace in dining area. Spacious, light living room on first floor with a two and three seat sofa and 2 armchairs. Tv and dvd system with sky satellite. Original working fireplace.

Other:
Separate cloakroom on ground floor
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
The rates include fresh linen and towels, including beach towels. The house is cleaned for new guests and if you are staying for 2 weeks, is cleaned midway and clean sheets and towels provided.

The house is accessed via a small step at the front door but the accommodation is located over 3 floors and so, regretfully, we cannot recommend this property to those with limited mobility.
