Villa Alegria is an elegant beachfront villa located on a slope down to the smooth golden sands of Salema beach in Portugal. Guarded by ochre cliffs, this quiet stretch of sandy shoreline is free from high-rise development and retains its untrammeled, yesteryear feel. Further inland sits the village of Salema, a traditional town known for its delicious seafood restaurants.

Built into the shoreline just steps from the sand, this four-bedroom villa blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, with large glass sliding doors opening onto roomy terraces. The show stealer is the rooftop, where you’ll find a furnished terrace dotted with shade-providing parasols and an infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic. Inside, sophisticated, modern-style interiors mirror the colors of the Mediterranean, with pops of various shades of blue incorporated into the white-dominated space.

Villa Alegria has been designed as four-bedroom vacation rental and is ready to accommodate up to 8 guests. Bedrooms are spread between different level of the house with two bedrooms positioned on the first floor (accessible through stairs). These bedroom feature king size bedding, generous closets and direct access to generous terrace. The second floor is composed by the master bedroom, open-air living are, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and official dining area. This level also enjoy access to a terrace so guests can enjoy amazing views from every corner of the house, The rooftop terrace is the showstopper, though! Offering undisturbed views, lounge area and infinity pool is a favorite place among sun lovers. Guests can enjoy alfresco dining using the outdoor kitchen, or simply enjoy the evenings with a cocktail at hand and the ocean as your company.
