The chateau sits in five acres of private grounds, with formal manicured gardens, terraces with tables and parasols, mature trees and shrubs to snooze under, and even your own football pitch for the more energetic. And yet we are only 400m from the center of Marathon, so you can stroll to the baker for your morning croissants, still warm from the oven. Even though it has less than 600 inhabitants, Marathon supports a tabac, a boulangerie, a butcher, a general store, a pharmacy - even a doctor and a cinema! When you stay at the chateau, you will quickly become recognized and treated as part of general village life.

The trendy, spacious and well equipped kitchen maintains its warmth and style with extensive use of wooden surfaces, modern artwork, ancient doors used as wall hangings and fabulous moody lighting.
