Built with dry-stone, so typical of this area, this substantial three-storey property boasts stylish, minimalist interiors, with spacious open plan rooms and even a private, state-of-the-art wellness centre and tennis court within the grounds! All this is beautifully complemented by expansive views across the fields towards Scicli, best enjoyed from the large terrace. The nearest shops and restaurants are conveniently located less than a mile away from the villa, whilst Scicli old town can be reached in a few minutes’ drive. Entirely rebuilt in the 17th century, the sight of this enchanting baroque town is simply breath-taking.

Take your time strolling along its steep lanes, admiring ancient houses, richly decorated churches and the stunning panorama over the Valley of Noto, as the Arabic settlers used to call this area. Most of the towns in this Southernmost tip of Sicily have been awarded the UNESCO world heritage status and are well worth a visit. Equally remarkable are Noto, Modica, Vittoria and, most of all, Ragusa Ibla. Incidentally, this area was chosen as a film-setting for the popular Inspector Montalbano TV series. Some of the most beautiful beaches and seaside resorts in Sicily can be found along the stretch of coast spanning eastwards, from Capo Passero to Punta Secca, and westwards along the Gulf of Noto.
