Villa Pura is a beautifully restored vacation rental in the lakeside village of Carate Urio, Lake Como. Reconstructed with exceptional care and attention to detail, this authentic Italian home blends contemporary comfort with character-rich architecture.

Spanning approximately 350 square meters, Villa Pura accommodates up to 10 guests across five thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Interiors are warm, modern, and elegant, featuring premium furnishings, natural materials, and a layout that encourages both social gatherings and moments of privacy. The ground floor forms the heart of the home, with a spacious, fully equipped kitchen ideal for shared cooking experiences. A true highlight is the extraordinary wine cellar, carved directly into the mountain rock, where a striking five-meter-long dining table seats up to 16 guests—an unforgettable setting for long dinners, celebrations, and wine tastings.

On the first floor, the villa opens into a welcoming living room with direct access to a balcony overlooking the lake, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening aperitifs. A charming veranda sitting area leads out to the private backyard, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living. The sleeping area on this level features four bedrooms and four bathrooms. One bedroom offers a double bed with an ensuite bathroom with shower, while three air-conditioned split-level mezzanine bedrooms each include a lounge area with sofa and direct access to the backyard. Stairs from these rooms lead to open loft spaces with double beds, creating unique and flexible accommodations. One of these bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom, while the other two are served by private bathrooms located across the hall. The second floor adds further versatility, with a cozy studio featuring a sofa bed, an additional bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower—ideal for older children.

The outdoor spaces of Villa Pura offer a serene private oasis overlooking the lake. Accessed by crossing a public walking path, the garden is beautifully arranged with a heated swimming pool, sun loungers, a dining table, and a barbecue area, all framed by lush greenery and sweeping views across Lake Como. It is an idyllic setting for lazy afternoons by the pool, al fresco dining, and evenings spent watching the sun set over the water.
