The La Datcha Val Thorens is a luxury chalet rental with a spacious layout and the ultimate in luxury as it sits at the highest point of Val Thorens. The south terrace overlooks the Glacier de Péclet and Cime de Caron mountain. The chalet is located in the heart of Val Thorens, where the Grand Rue, or the main street, meets the Rue de Gébroulaz named after the last privately owned glacier in Europe. With Val Thorens being a doorstep ski resort, the nearest slope is only ten meters away from the chalet.

The La Datcha Val Thorens chalet has five suites with two or three rooms each, accommodating up to 15 guests in total The suites are situated on the upper floors, boasting a spectacular view on the mountain tops Each room features a balcony facing the south and a bathroom. Our inspiration is the traditional French cuisine, and we are proud of the delicious masterpieces created by our chef We spent several years looking for the best collection wines worthy of our chalet’s cellars. Eventually, we came up with a wine list that would be the envy of any restaurant in the Three Valleys. Unique combinations of ingredients, spices and herbs, fascinating scents, excellent wines and cheese, they are all intrinsic to France. All the ingredients are picked and the cooking process is controlled by the chef himself, ensuring that La Datcha guests enjoy both the food and the serving.

The chalet’s business center and library will also be at your disposal. Cigar lovers will appreciate the cigar room. Understanding that a good vacation means a large variety of leisure activities, we make meeting your expectations our top priority. We will be happy to provide you with footwear, golf clubs, balls and any other equipment you might need. Val Thorens is Europe’s highest ski resort that lies at the heart of the Three Valleys, the world’s largest ski area, and offers some 600 km of ski trails, 321 pistes, 169 lifts and 2,100 snow cannons to provide artificial snow cover when the natural snow is scarce.

If you are new to skiing, we will be happy to select the best ski instructors who will help you master the essentials of skiing in just a couple of days. If you feel like spending a night out, just let us know, and we will tell you all about Val Thorens’ best clubs, bars and restaurants, and help book the best table.
