Kumara Villa itself is made up of open plan pavilions. Spacious pavilions are crafted from natural materials and open fully to the surrounding gardens, allowing tropical breezes and the sounds of nature to flow through effortlessly. Surrounded by swaying palms and exotic flowering trees, the villa exudes a sense of peaceful seclusion—yet it's just a short tuk tuk ride from surf-friendly Weligama (5 mins), the bustling harbor of Mirissa (10 mins), and the UNESCO-listed city of Galle (40 mins).

The villa’s centerpiece is a large open-plan living pavilion that merges indoor luxury with outdoor tranquility. Comfortable lounging areas open up on one side to the shimmering saltwater infinity pool with stone-tiled deck and cushioned sun loungers, and on the other side to manicured lawns and tropical gardens. A shaded pergola with antique fan and built-in seating offers the perfect nook for a midday siesta or sunset drink. The dining pavilion, located just steps away, features a 12-foot handcrafted table, ideal for group dining under the stars.

Each of the three king-size bedroom suites is housed in its own private pavilion with a walled garden, ensuring maximum privacy. All suites feature indoor/outdoor ensuite bathrooms, lush garden views, and spacious terraces perfect for morning coffee or quiet reading. Two of the bedrooms can also accommodate an extra fold-out bed for children, making the villa family-friendly.
