Located on the east side of Lake Joseph, Sunsets on Joe has north west exposure and offers some of most incredible sunsets in the Muskoka region. With delightful long lake views and situated in a quiet bay with no boat traffic, Sunsets on Joe truly is the best of both worlds! The cottage offers great proximity to popular amenities as it is only a 10- and 8-minute drive to Port Sandfield and the town of Minett respectively.

The main cottage is both spacious and inviting, featuring a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with dual sinks, two dishwashers, premium appliances, and a separate pantry. Gather around the custom dining table or relax in one of the two living rooms—one with a double-sided stone fireplace and panoramic lake views, the other with a large sectional, TV, and direct access to the Muskoka room. Sunsets on Joe comes with 8 bedrooms and accommodates up to 16 guests. Of the five bedrooms in the main house, one is located in the loft and includes a double and twin bed with a private ensuite, ideal for teens or friends. The boathouse adds two more bedrooms: one with a king bed and walkout balcony, and another with bunk beds—perfect for kids. A cozy living area with a sectional sofa, TV, and kitchenette completes the boathouse. The final bedroom is found in the guest house, offering added privacy and proximity to the fully equipped gym.

Outdoors, the property is a lakeside paradise. Stroll down stone pathways that lead to a large dock and the boathouse, where guests can enjoy a boat slip and swim in crystal-clear waters with both a sandy walk-in and 5-foot depth off the dock. A scenic upper-level seating area provides a tranquil spot to soak in sunsets and sweeping views of Lake Joseph. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the private tennis court, pickleball wall, and dual basketball nets, while families with children will appreciate the trampoline, playground, and safe level lawn. The outdoor fireplace, surrounded by classic Muskoka chairs, sets the stage for starlit evenings and shared stories.
