Walatta House is unlike any other villa on the island. Designed with a unique ‘green roof’ concept, it disappears into the landscape, letting nature take the lead.

At the heart of the villa lies the 20-meter infinity pool, stretching toward the sea with uninterrupted views of the horizon. Adjacent is the open-air living and dining pavilion, crafted with clean lines, polished concrete floors, locally sourced timber, and handpicked art and furniture. The villa features three bedrooms (king size, queen size and twin), each with ensuite indoor-outdoor bathrooms that let you shower beneath the sky or bathe surrounded by tropical foliage. All three bedrooms have en-suite inside/outside bathrooms, designed with modern materials to compliment the tropical flora, providing privacy and natural light. The Master Suite has a garden view and its own small terrace overlooking the pool.

Meals are served alfresco or in the shaded dining area, lovingly prepared by the villa’s private chef using fresh local produce. Enjoy authentic Sri Lankan curries, grilled seafood, tropical fruits, and Western favorites tailored to your taste. Curated menus are usually pre-planned at the time of the booking for an extra cost. Just steps from the villa, a private path leads down through the jungle to a secluded beach, one of the area’s most peaceful stretches of sand.
