Imagine after a long day at the parks going back to your own private, beautifully decorated home in a safe, quiet, gated community which is only a five-minute drive from Disney! Emerald Island Resort is a tropical oasis as it is nestled within a protected wetland and is just a few miles from Walt Disney World and many other activities in the Orlando area.

Our home has an over-sized lanai area by the private pool which is totally screened in with extra patio furniture to accommodate everyone. TVs in all bedrooms, family room has a large TV with a VCR/DVD combination player and a stereo, CD player. There is a game room in the garage with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, radio, stools etc. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, but if you don't, there are many fabulous restaurants within a five-minute drive. Play station available, bring your own games or you can rent right down the road.

Two of the bedrooms have twin beds,o ne has two sets of bunks, two have queen-size beds, and there are two master en suites with king-size beds (king-size and queen-size beds have pillow-top mattresses). We have made every effort to make our home comfortable and inviting. We have paid attention to the little things like pillow top mattresses, high thread count sheets, name brand bedding, extra pillows, leather couches, etc.

Everyone loves a little fun in their lives so we have themed some of our bedrooms and bathrooms.  We have a "Castle room". "Hawaiian room", "Mickey room", "Americana room", "Fish bathroom", and a "Nautical bathroom".  Emerald Island Resort has Walking Trails, 24 hour gated security, Concierge service, Internet Café, 2 Heated Swimming Pools, Tiki-bar, Sand Volley ball, Video Arcade, Sauna, Fitness Center, Whirlpool, Cyber Cafe & Wireless Hot Spot, Tennis Center & Equipment Loan, Poolside Tiki Bar, Newspaper Sales, 2 Playgrounds, Large Screen Cable TV, Meeting Room, All Day Free Coffee, Special Activities such as "Scuba Experience", "Spa Parties", "Beauty Parties" Karaoke every Saturday, Mobile Spa Service and much more….
