The 38th President of the United States of America built the ski in/ski out property in 1983, and used the home as his ski and summer retreat until 2006. The recent renovation preserved the historical significance of this property and the dignity of the Ford Family while modernizing and updating the interior furnishings and feel of the home.

 

This extraordinary property of nearly 10,000 square feet has 7 bedrooms, 10.5 baths, a state of the art theater, gourmet kitchen, private massage room, elevator access, presidential office, a billiard/poker room (built in the secret service quarters), and President Ford’s beautiful lap pool (only indoor private pool in Beaver Creek Village and an amenity that President Ford religiously swam in twice daily). Skiers/riders ski down ” President Ford’s” ski run, right into the back of the home for unparalleled mountain access.
