Completed in 2002 and located ten minutes from the Breckenridge ski area, Rubywood commands a breathtaking view of the ski runs and mountains. It has easy access to other ski resorts including Keystone, Copper Mountain and Vail. The Gold Point shuttle stop is a short walk from the top of our driveway. The Summit Stage, a free service, serves the charming Victorian town of Breckenridge Colorado and the rest of Summit County. Rubywood is a rare find among the many fine properties in the area in that guests are treated to not only magnificent views and luxurious up to date amenities, but also the tucked-away peace and quiet that has become so rare in today's world.

 

Visitors to Rubywood will find a home that is surrounded on three sides by acres of mature evergreen forest as a postcard view to the ski area takes center stage.

 

Rubywood has four bedrooms and a loft and sleeps up to 16 in comfort. This home, with its log structure, has large common areas and soaring spaces. Comfort is unmatched as the entire home features multi-zoned radiant in-floor heat. Guests may relax in the six person Hot Springs hot tub with moto massage under the stars. In summer, the pond, stream and cascading waterfalls next to the house add an ideal ambiance.

 

Professionally designed and decorated in a luxurious western style on a 2.4 acre site and adjacent to an additional 6 acres of forested open space downhill, Rubywood offers the ultimate Rocky Mountain get away while still remaining close enough to all the fun that Colorado has to offer. Rubywood is accented with custom lighting fixtures and fireplace screens created by noted Artist Peter Fillerup.
