Stonegate is a dramatic five bedroom private home located on the Sundance ski trail in Mountain Village. This home has been built with an elaborate combination of Telluride Gold stonework, alder wood flooring, 100-year-old Douglas Fir beams and a heavy cedar shake roof. This beautiful residence has breathtaking views of the San Sophia mountain range from every room.

 

The middle level of the home features a large, open plan great room with vaulted ceilings and outdoor access to the north and the south. There is a fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances by Wolf and Sub Zero. On the same level as the kitchen is a dining table for ten guests. Both the kitchen and dining area overlook a recessed living area with a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. French doors open to a spacious, paved deck with awe inspiring views of the San Sophia mountain range to the north. From the south side of the building you have another paved are with a hot tub, gas grill and stairs leading up to the Sundance ski run, which runs directly past the back of the home.

 

There is a ski room and a half bathroom located on the middle level, just off the kitchen. Also on this main level is a king guest suite with a sofa, wardrobe, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub and a steam shower.

 

A spacious, private master suite occupies the entire top floor. When you reach the top of the stairs there is an office desk. To the left of the office area is the king master bedroom with a flat-screen TV, a small private balcony and a walk in wardrobe. To the right of the desk is the large, private master bathroom with gorgeous tile work. The master bathroom has a large, glass enclosed steam shower and a jetted tub.

 

On the lower level of the home is a media room with a flat-screen TV/DVD and a bar area. There are three additional bedrooms on this level. One suite has a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower. Another suite has a split king bed (it can be two singles or a king) and a private bathroom with a shower. The final guest bedroom has a split king and a set of bunks with two single beds. This suite also has it's own private bathroom with a combined shower/tub. All guest suites have a large, walk in closet. There is also a laundry room on this lower level, and access to the garage.
