Hunter's Lodge, Telluride, Colorado Vacation Rental

 

Hunter's Lodge is the quintessential Colorado ski home. This five bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom private home is characterised by classic western décor and multiple entertaining areas. Hunter's Lodge is one of the original Mountain Village ski homes, and therefore offers a prime location on the edge of the Mountain Village core. The ski school and the gondola are a leisurely five-minute walk away.

 

You enter Hunter's Lodge on the main level of the home (the middle level). This level features the great room, and two guest suites. The great room is extremely spacious with two separate seating areas – one surrounding a wood burning fireplace and the other surrounding a TV/DVD. There is a full kitchen with up-to-date stainless steel appliances and a dining table for eight guests. There is also a bar. Just off the great room is a half bathroom, a ski room and a laundry room. There are also two decks of either end of the great room, one with a gas grill. Also off either end of the great room are two large guest suites. One of the guest suites has a king bed while the other has a queen bed. Both suites have a gas fireplace, a TV, a seating area, a private bathroom with a shower and a walk in closet. Each suite also has access to an outdoor deck through French doors.

 

Upstairs there are two queen guest suites. Both suites have a private bathroom with a combined shower and tub, a TV/DVD, and a small private balcony.

 

The downstairs area has a fifth guest suite with two queen beds, a gas fireplace and a private bathroom with a combined shower and tub. This bedroom also has French doors opening out to a deck with a hot tub. The main feature of this lower level is the games room – possibly the most well equipped in Mountain Village! The games room has an air hockey table, a pool table, a jukebox and a popcorn machine. There are also sofas surrounding a TV/DVD and another fireplace. This downstairs area could be it's own self-contained apartment – there is a full kitchen, a full bathroom, a second laundry room and a sauna. You can also access the hot tub deck from the games room.

 

Hunter’s Lodge can sleep up to twelve guests in total.
