As you enter Buckhorn Ranch and wind up the bucolic driveway, past the organic vegetable garden and the horse stables, you quickly realize that you are experiencing something very special. Not only is this classic Western ranch exquisitely beautiful, but it is an authentic working ranch with horses, grazing cows and chickens. Buckhorn Ranch has a gorgeous main homestead with four bedrooms, as well as a charming guesthouse with one additional bedroom. Together, these residences sleep eight guests in total. Buckhorn Ranch is a completely unique vacation rental offering as it allows you to experience luxury ranch living. Buckhorn Ranch is also an idyllic wedding destination offering the perfect setting for a romantic, intimate gathering with loved ones. Just a forty-five minute drive from Telluride and fifteen mintues drive from Montrose airport -- one can truly escape to this picturesque ranch.

 

On the ground floor of the homestead is an inviting great room with a dining table and a lounge area surrounding a wood-burning fireplace. Just off the living room is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Also off the living area is the king master suite with a private bathroom. Right off the main living area is a large porch with a hot tub, a state-of-the-art grill station, lounge chairs and heat lamps. The main homestead has sweeping views of the San Juan and Cimarron mountain ranges. Upstairs are three additional guest bedrooms – one with a king bed, another with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds. Each guest bedroom has a private bathroom.

 

The guesthouse has an additional guest suite with a queen bed and a single bed. There is also a private bathroom.

Buckhorn Ranch amentities include use of four wheelers, horse back riding, hunting, hiking or assisting with the working ranch as a cowboy for a day!
