The Villa of Cefalicchio, whose ancient structure has been lovingly restored, has retained its original furnishings. An impressive stone stairway leads to a terrace that runs around the entire perimeter of the main floor, where large rooms full of light have maintained their nineteenth-century appearance. A “belvedere” offers a fine view as far as the Murge and the Apulian Plateau. At the back of the villa, the farmyard is the area devoted to agricultural activities. Pine trees separate the house from the swimming-pool, a simple basin set in the tufa rock and surrounded by olive trees, cypresses and aromatic shrubs.

Three mini-apartments directly opposite the swimming-pool, two suites overlooking the big terrace that runs round the villa, seven double rooms next to the “belvedere”. Refreshment in the expert hands of one of Puglia’s most promising young chefs. Walks through the vineyards and olive groves surrounding the house combined with wine-tasting sessions and the opportunity to hold a science workshop, cultural conference or business meeting in a special setting. A visit to the cellars to taste the new wine, an aperitif on the terrace at sunset and an evening chatting in the drawing-room. The pleasure of dedicating some time to yourself in the wine-therapy tub, relaxing by the pool or reading in the shade of the pine trees.
