The Marais is one of the most ancient and picturesque parts of Paris, characterized by its unique 17th century buildings and elegant stores and restaurants. For visitors who wish to explore Paris on foot, this is an excellent point from which to do so.  At a walking distance you have the Bastille Opera as well as the Seine that you can walk along to Ile Saint Louis.  If you have any interest in art, you have plenty of little galleries and workshops where you can buy exquisite gifts.  You are also at a walking distance of Place des Vosges and of all those beautiful museums: Carnavalet, Cognac-Jay, Archives Nationales and so many others.

 

On top of everything, and it is rather rare in the center of Paris, this is a very quiet street offering still all the advantages of Paris within a walking distance.

 

This beautiful apartment is composed of three levels with 1,720 sq. ft. of living area, sleeps up to 6 guests. The main floor contains the living room, with exotic columns and décor, and the dining room, with a lovely solid table and situated close to the fully equipped kitchen. The lower floor has a television room, accessed by a staircase.

 

The three bedrooms are situated on the top floor. One light-filled bedroom is all white with red curtains in a picture window and a small settee at the foot of the bed. The second bedroom is also light-filled and has an armchair and a comfortable bed covered in modern fabric. The third bedroom is great for children with its sunny yellow décor, bright red bed and a 1950 French school table.

 

The two bathrooms are both located upstairs, the first one has a large bath-tub to relax in after a day of exploring Paris, while the second bedroom is equipped with a shower.
