The lounge gives onto the large well-equipped kitchen/diner, from which you can access the private garden with its lawn, pond and patio. The large bathroom has a full size bath with shower over it.
Located in the heart of lively Balham, it's just a 2 minute walk away from Balham Underground and Mainline Stations - getting you into the 'West End' in minutes. Balham has a huge choice of bars, restaurants and shops, including both Waitrose and Sainsburys supermarkets.
All are within a 5 minute walk, making a car completely unnecessary (though there is safe parking in the street right next to the apartment if required). The famous Bedford Pub/Banana Cabaret live music and comedy venue is just literally round the corner, as are restaurants ranging from Thai to Italian, Persian to Portuguese and Moroccan to Sri Lankan.
And if it's wide open spaces you're after - for a stroll or a jog - Clapham, Wandsworth and Tooting Commons (boasting Europe's biggest open air swimming pool, tennis courts, kids playground etc) are all within a few minutes’ walk.
The private garden for the apartment is accessed from the kitchen, which leads, via a communal corridor, to the back door of the property. The garden has a small lawn, a pond, and a secluded patio. There is a table and chairs with seating for 6, as well as a BBQ. All BBQ tools are provided. Please be aware that there are passing trains though.
On-street parking available; daily permits £5 each can be ordered through us at time of booking as we must obtain them from our local council office. Otherwise metered parking is available from 09:30 - 17:30 on Monday through Saturday (max 4 hrs).
If you need to store luggage after arrival to London or until your departure from London and are not able to leave it with us as long as you'd like we recommend that you check with the main transport (rail or bus) terminals, who will have luggage storage lockers.
