The Villa is perfectly situated in the heart of Lake Como and allows for the exploration of the best Italian surroundings: the romanticism of the town of Bellagio, the metropolitan taste of Milan, the history and traditions of the cities of Bergamo and Lecco, or the beautiful Swiss lakeside town of Lugano.

The ground floor of the Villa hosts the majestic 200-square-meter hall with its frescoed ceilings and Venetian terrazzo floors. The brightness of Lake Como, located less than eight meters from the entry, illuminates the hall thanks to four door windows and six large windows. The 18th-century marble fireplace, the crystal chandeliers, and the elegant combination of family heirlooms with the finest antiques ensure the guests a memorable experience. On the same floor, there are a professional kitchen, a laundry bathroom and two modern half-baths to be used by guests during events.

A modern elevator brings guests to the second floor of the Villa, which can also be reached by the ancient stone staircase. The second floor hosts the game room, where guests can play billiards, cards and other games together. On the opposite side of the floor, a fully-equipped gym with an international channel television will allow guests to train also during the stay at Villa Aura del Lago. A wonderful Sauna with shower and tea corner completes the floor, and it ensures our guests the ultimate relaxing experience...

The Villa is the perfect venue for an exclusive holiday with your family and friends. Surrounded by old cedars and directly overlooking Lake Como with its 200-meter-length waterfront, Villa Liberta ensures the highest standards of privacy and comfort. The Villa interiors are filled with antiques, carpets and chandeliers that have been passed down over the generations of the Guido family. The floor are made of Venetian terrazzo and antique woods. The ceilings are finely covered with frescoes and enriched with chandeliers. With its eight bedrooms, all equipped with independent and beautiful bathrooms, Villa Liberta can accommodate up to 16 guests.

Taste a memorable breakfast under the Liberty gazebo, relax reading one of the library books in front of the lake, or take a swim in the heated pool located in the park. Test your botanic knowledge exploring the garden and its botanic species, or just enjoy the purest lake experience boating or waterskiing. The Guido family and the Villa manager would be happy to support you during your stay and ensure that you have the finest Italian experience. The friendly, unobtrusive owner’s own residence, which he uses only at weekends and on holidays, is located on the far side of the villa’s park, with its own driveway, independent parking area and garden.
