This is a spectacular house situated in Beau Estate below the World Heritage site of the Pitons of St. Lucia. The property is situated in an expansive, beautifully landscaped garden of 2.2 acres, with rolling lawns running down to the coast and to a rocky pebble beach. Jalousie Hotel and a white sand beach is a short walk or drive away. The property is situated near to the town of Soufriere with its unique attractions, such as the Diamond Waterfall, the Mineral Baths and the drive in volcano.
You enter the main 10,000 square foot house through French Colonial double doors into a marble floored hallway with a dramatic outlook to the sea and a grand double staircase soaring up to the lofty ceilings. The hallway leads into a spacious sitting room and a separate formal dining room with seating for 12 person – both rooms are surrounded on two sides by patios facing the sea and the towering Pitons. On the patio is an open bar and two outside dining areas which are cooled with ceiling fans.
There is a large, well equipped kitchen and adjacent laundry room. The state of the art kitchen has marble counter tops and modern appliances, including a coffee machine, a cappuccino machine, deep pan fryer, juicer, blender, dishwasher, ice machine and two large fridges.
The house boasts eleven bedrooms – all of which have both ceiling fans and air conditioning. Upstairs there is a generous master bedroom with a king bed (180cm x 200cm) and a separate sitting area, which opens onto a spacious balcony overlooking the garden and out to sea. There is also a large walk in closet and an en-suite bathroom – consisting of his and hers rain showers, tub and his and her toilets. A separate Jacuzzi pool completes this bathroom. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 all have a king beds (180cm x 200cm) and an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a tub. Bedrooms 5 and 6 share a bathroom. Bedroom 5 has a king bed and bedroom 6 has two single beds. Bedrooms 2 and 5 also open onto the upper level balcony and from here guests can enjoy spectacular sea views. There are two more bedrooms within the main house that are situated below the living area. Bedrooms 7 and 8 both have a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a tub. They each have a separate living area with a sofa that can open out into a queen size bed. Both of these bedrooms open onto the gardens and are separate and very private. Three additional bedrooms are situated in a separate 2,000 square foot cottage near to the pool – Bedrooms 9, 10 and 11 all have a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom.
In the cottage there is also an open bar with a comfortable living area for casual living.
