Newly renovated in 2008, Following Seas’ casual elegance seamlessly balances original artwork with classic Jamaican architecture, inviting the outside in through large windows and open air verandas.

There is a sense of graceful harmony in this private home balanced easily between delightful tropical gardens and glistening sea.  Perched atop one of the highest points of the historic Tryall Club, Following Seas’ seven extensively landscaped and manicured acres provide visitors 180 degree panoramic views of the crystal clear Caribbean, as well as lush mountain views of the western Jamaica landscape. Following Seas offers over 8,000 square feet of spectacular covered living space and acres of outdoor space for recreation and relaxation.

Greeted by majestic island palms, guests enter through a dramatic spiral staircase leading to the centerpiece of the home – an expansive, 900 sq ft. living and entertainment space which opens on to a spacious covered terrace with dining area, all of which overlook the sparkling pool and glistening ocean. A charming dining gazebo, built around natural coral rock, is another elegant dining setting for up to 35 guests.

A state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, bar and large outdoor pool and deck area combine to make Following Seas the perfect destination for parties large and small. Breathtaking tropical designs with bright, cheery accents compliment this home’s island feel. Custom cabinetry graces every room and there are flat screen TV’s in every bedroom and living area. Other conveniences include air conditioning, satellite radio, intercom and high-speed wireless internet in every room, and Netspeak phone lines allowing free calling to the United States, Canada and most of Europe.  

The Main House offers four luxurious bedroom suites all with ocean views. The master suite features a hand-carved, four poster, king bed and two private “his” and “her” bathrooms and dressing areas. The remaining suites feature one king bed, two full beds and two twins (convertible to one king), respectively. All bedrooms have private double bathrooms adorned with the elegance of marble and granite.  

For added privacy, the Guest Cottage, just off the Main House, features two bedrooms (one king; one with two full beds), living room, kitchen with breakfast counter, and a veranda with seating and dining area. All rooms in the Cottage enjoy full ocean views.

To provide the best in personal service, Following Seas employs its own staff of seven. These professionals bring the warmth of the Jamaica people and a high level of personal service to our guests. Our chef is experienced in Continental and Jamaican cuisine, and can tailor an offering to suit your individual palette and dietary needs. Our butler, chambermaids and gardeners are also available to tend to your daily needs. Nannies are available upon request. Private cars and drivers can also be arranged. The staff is enthusiastic about meeting all your entertaining desires – large formal dinners to picnics, BBQs and small, casual cocktail gatherings. Following Seas is pleased to provide its guests with the use of three, four-seater complimentary golf cars.
